Fort William and the surrounding area offers literally hundreds of different walking and cycling routes with varying levels of difficulty so whether you are a rambling pro or a novice bike rider they'll be something for you to try your hand at.

Electric heating from panel heaters in bedrooms with additional heat from electric fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, colour TV, radio etc. Laundry facilities on site (£1 coin meter). First £7 of electricity inc. in rent, remainder by £1 coin meter. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot & highchair on request. Off road parking in car park 50 yards from property. Shared lawned garden area. Sorry no pets. Shops, pub and post office 10 minutes walk.

The United Kingdoms tallest mountain Ben Nevis is also close by along with the Nevis Range Ski resort, which has a mountain gondola. If you're not keen on outdoor sports there are more leisurely pursuits to enjoy, including a tour of Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery, which of course comes with a complimentary whisky sample!

The Property

Fort William 3 miles.A cosy and compact detached chalet, in a lovely position amid lawned grounds near the village of Corpach, 3 miles from Fort William. Set with 4 other chalets, this charming property offers simple, comfortable open plan accommodation. Ideally placed for exploring the “great outdoors”, there is a wealth of walking, biking and climbing in the area, with Ben Nevis visible from the site. The mystical Isle of Skye is within reach (via a drive through spectacular scenery or even by steam train!), or visit Fort William and its shops, pubs and restaurants. A great base from which to explore the beautiful Western Highlands!

All ground floor.Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin & WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire.

The famous colony of puffins at Handa Island is nearby. Nedd is an excellent base for hill walkers and climbers who are keen to explore Quinag, Suilven, Canisp, Benn Stack, Arkle, Ben More Assynt, and Foinaven. Trout and salmon fishing and stalking is available by arrangement on the many hill lochs for fishing enthusiasts. The Stoer Lighthouse, the renowned garden of Kerrachar, the caves of Assynt and the incredible geological feature of 'Moine Thrust', are all within easy reach of the holiday destination of Nedd..
